What’s included with my fishing charter?
Every charter includes a licensed captain, fuel, fishing rods and reels, bait, tackle, ice, and all necessary safety gear. We also clean and bag your catch at the end of the trip so you're ready to cook or freeze your fish as soon as you get home.
What should I bring on my fishing trip?
We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, non-marking shoes, snacks, and drinks (alcohol is allowed in moderation). Don’t forget a cooler for your catch, and a valid New Jersey saltwater angler registry if you're planning to fish.
Do I need a fishing license?
No individual fishing license is required. Reel C Charters is fully licensed and covers all fishing regulations for the state of New Jersey. However, all anglers should be registered with the NJ Saltwater Recreational Registry Program (it’s free and easy to do online).
